Mozambique Weather and Climate

Mozambique has a tropical climate with two distinct seasons: a dry season from May to October and a wet season from November to April  The country is also affected by tropical cyclones from the Indian Ocean during the wet season.

During the dry season, temperatures are hot and humid along the coast, with average temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F). Inland, temperatures can be cooler due to higher elevations. The dry season is also characterized by clear skies and low humidity.

The wet season brings heavy rainfall and high humidity, particularly along the coast. Average temperatures during this season range from 25°C to 35°C (77°F to 95°F). The wet season can also bring flooding and strong winds, especially during tropical cyclones.
