Morrungulo Bay is a stunning beach located on the southern coast of Mozambique, in the Inhambane province. The bay is situated approximately 580 kilometers northeast of Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique.

Access to Morrungulo Bay is primarily by road, with visitors able to travel from Maputo to the bay via a well-maintained highway that runs along the coast. The journey takes around 8 hours by car and offers some fantastic views of the Mozambican countryside.

Alternatively, visitors can take a flight from Maputo International Airport to Inhambane Airport, which takes around 1 hour. From there, visitors can easily hire a car or take a taxi to travel to Morrungulo Bay, which is located around 80 kilometers north of Inhambane.

Morrungulo Bay is known for its beautiful beaches, which offer pristine white sand, crystal-clear water, and a wealth of marine life. Visitors can participate in a variety of water sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing. The bay is also an excellent location for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing.

The road from Inhambane to Morrungulo is mostly unpaved. It's recommended that have a 4x4 vehicle if you're planning to drive yourself, as the road can be rough and challenging in some areas.
