The nearest major airport to Inhassoro is Vilankulo Airport (VNX), approximately 110 km north of Inhassoro, which handles domestic flights from Maputo and international charters, particularly from South Africa. From Vilankulo, travelers can hire a taxi or rent a car for the drive south to Inhassoro, which typically takes 1.5–2 hours along the EN1 highway and coastal roads.

Another option is Beira Airport (BEW), about 520 km north of Inhassoro. Beira is a larger airport with more frequent domestic connections, but the drive from Beira to Inhassoro takes roughly 7–8 hours, so it is recommended only if Vilankulo flights are unavailable.

By Road
Inhassoro is accessible by Mozambique's well-maintained coastal roads, offering scenic drives along the Indian Ocean. Key driving distances include:

  • Maputo → Inhassoro: ~580 km, approximately 8–9 hours via the EN1 highway.
