Getting to Inhambane and Tofo beach
The drive from Maputo to Inhambane is approximately 470 kilometers and takes around 6-7 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
- Take the EN1 toward Xai-Xai/Inhambane.
- Continue on EN1 for approximately 450 kilometers until you reach Inhambane.
- In Inhambane, follow the signs to the beaches
- Follow the road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach Tofo Beach.
Note: Pay attention to the speed limits. There are a lot of policemen performing speed checks with radar
